Last September, the Macau Poker Cup festival attracted record totals of 6,921 entrants and awarded nearly HK$68 million (USD $8.8m) in prize money. PokerStars LIVE Macau will be hosting the 28th installment of the Macau Poker Cup (MPC28) from January 26 to February 11.

What is this Platinum Pass you may ask?
In January 2019, the PCA will be hosting the USD $25,000 buy-in PokerStars Players NL Hold'em Championship (PSPC) and it's sure to be the biggest of its kind. More than 300 Platinum Passes will be given throughout the year and the package includes the 25K Main Event buy-in, six nights' accommodation at Atlantis Resort, and USD $2,000 in travel and on-site expenses.

Above are the player numbers for the last four Baby Dragon events. The growth has been nothing short of incredible and its anyone's guess as to what the final tally will be when MPC28 rolls around.
▪ FEBRUARY 4-9: $15,000 Red Dragon ($10 Million Guarantee)
The Red Dragon is the largest freezeout in the Asia Pacific and the previous installment attracted a record 1,308 players and more than HK$17 million in prize money! China's Qiuming Qin (pictured) is largely expected to return to defend his title.
